Flashback to this vanity and mirror build from 2019. I am so proud of this project for so many reasons. This was my first time going to a real lumber yard to pick out hardwoods. My first time building drawers. My first time building inset cabinets. I was so nervous to say yes to this project, but I am so thankful that I did! Here’s how to build a DIY cold plunge: - start by finding a deep freezer big enough to hold a body (it’s ok to lay in one at Home Depot or ask “will a body fit in it” to the guy on Facebook Marketplace) - Seal the seams with waterproof epoxy (DM for link) - Plug the freezer into a temperature controller (DM for a link) - Add a fish tank pump to filter the water (also DM for a link) - Add some water and start plunging! - Optional: paint the inside with Pond Shield to help prevent rust (DM for a link) - Also optional: frame with lumber to make it look fancier #coldplunge #diycoldplunge #coldexposure

Almost finished with the new grilling area in time for football season! Just going to add a TV and little more landscaping. Inspired by @grillin_with_dad setup.

It takes me a long time to finish projects these days, but I’m very happy to have this outdoor grilling space finished up! I’ve been really needing a new table for my #bge so I decided to one big enough to house my #blackstone as well!

A few weeks ago, my wife, @messy_ash_life, asked me if there was any way we could get a reverse osmosis water filter to improve our drinking water. Naturally, I did hours of research and decided that an under sink system from @apecwater would work best for our needs. This led to me finally swapping the double basin for a single and all I can say is wow! A small change makes a huge difference! We love the look, but really love the functionality! And the water filter taste so much better than the fringe water. Very happy with the results! Swipe to see the old setup and let me know what you think!

I have been dreaming of building a miter saw station for literally years and I’ve finally made one! The main things that I knew I had to have was integrated dust collection, a stop block for repeated cuts, and a lot of drawer space! Super happy with the way it all turned out, but I’m not 100% done yet. I plan to build a dust hood to go over the saw. We bought our home 5 months ago and every day for the last 5 months we walked by an empty kitchen nook. Well, no more! Just finished this 48” round table that fits perfect in this area. Now, back to the shop to build a matching console table. #kitchentable #breakfasttable

Our back porch is getting cozier! I started by replacing the vinyl ceiling with knotty pine tongue and groove. While the ceiling was off, I beefed up the framing and added an outlet to power the lights. Then built and hung the bed swing. We will soon find some chairs for added seating and some other decor. But loving how it looks so far! What do you guys think?

So in case you haven’t heard, we have sold our house in PA and are headed to Lexington, South Carolina! The buyers of our home were gracious enough to give us some extra time to find another house, so before I packed away my tools I was able to build them a new dining room table.

Bathroom vanity with matching mirror! What a story this project turned out to be! In early May, I got together with my customer to design this vanity. At the end of May, I started building the vanity and they had a contractor begin demo on their bathroom. Early June, I was finished with the vanity but the bathroom was no where near being ready for delivery. Finally delivered the vanity in July and installed the vanity top which turned out to be the wrong color top. Over the next few months my customers tried 3 different vanity tops before getting the right one. They fired their contractor and had to redo several things that he messed up. Now here we are, mid-November and their bathroom is complete! I have to say, it might of just been worth the long wait and frustrations. #vanity #vanitymirror #bathroomdesign #bathroomremodel

The back yard just got a little more cozy! Found this pottery barn sectional and two lounge chairs used for super cheap! The cushions were very well taken care of but the wood was not. Spent the week sanding and painting the set. As well as making several repairs where the wood was dry rotted and where the joinery was separating. Really loving how it turned out! I also ran power to the cabana and added some string lights. What do you guys think?
